San Diego Clippers Sign Forward Devine Eke

On March 3rd, the San Diego Clippers signed forward Devine Eke from the player pool.

Eke, 28, was originally drafted by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2024 NBA G League Draft but was waived on December 2nd. Since then, he has appeared in four regular season games with the Mexico City Capitanes and the Delaware Blue Coats, where he averaged 3.8 points and 4.0 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game. Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, Eke played collegiate basketball at Maine (2015-16), Rider (2016-19), and Radford (2019-20). During his senior season at Radford, he appeared in 31 games and averaged 6.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in 23.2 minutes per game.

In a corresponding move, the Golden State Warriors signed Braxton Keys to a two-way contract. Keys appeared in 38 games with the San Diego Clippers averaging 14.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 steals in 31.8 minutes. Keys was a standout performer for the Clippers during the regular season, recording 12 double-doubles, ranking tenth in the G League in rebounds per game (9.4), and leading the league in steals per game (2.64).
